How to add a watermark to a PDF
Want to stop your file being copied without permission, or put your company's name on an official document before sending it? A watermark is a semi-transparent text or logo shown behind each page's content, hard to remove without affecting the document.
Steps
- Open the Watermark tool and add your PDF file.
- Type the text you want (like your company name or the word draft) and adjust its opacity and position.
- Save the file and download the new version.
Tips
- Choose a suitable opacity so it doesn't block reading the original text.
- The watermark is added to every page of the file automatically.
- Useful for contracts, drafts and sample forms before a final signature.
