How to extract a ZIP file on your phone or computer
Got a ZIP file by email or WhatsApp and need what’s inside? Especially on a phone, there may be no app at hand to open it. FileMind extracts it in your browser, with nothing to install and nothing uploaded.
Steps
- Open the Extract ZIP tool and choose a ZIP file from your device.
- Click “Extract files” to list every file in the archive with its folder and size.
- Download the file you need, or view it right away if it’s an image, PDF or text file.
Tips
- Each file shows the folder it came from inside the archive.
- System leftovers like __MACOSX and .DS_Store are hidden automatically.
- RAR, 7z and password-protected ZIPs are not supported yet.
